Think Pink!
This past Sunday I took part in the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure in downtown Toledo. It was an amazing and inspiring day. It started with the Pink Ribbon photo at Fifth Third Field, followed by the Survivor Parade down Monroe Street to the main stage on Summit Street. I don't have the words to describe how I felt, it was overwhelming.
I was joined on the walk by my daughter Katie, grandkids Megan and William, my step-daughter Amie, my sister Jenniffer, nieces Riley and Grace, mother-in-law Sharon, and sister-in-law Sara. We had a lot of fun and we're already making plans for next year. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. If you haven't already, I encourage you to schedule your check-up today!
